Newport Beach incorporates a nice variety of attached condominium living to match most any budget in this otherwise exclusive city. These attached residential units are distributed over 47 subdivisions which comprise of a total of approximately 7,100 condominiums. Sizes and prices range from a low of approximately the mid to upper $100K's for a 1bedroom, 1 bath, 650 square foot flat. On up to $2 - $3 Millions for Ocean Front - Beach Front condos with 3 or 4 bedrooms comprising of 2,000 square feet or more.
Although housing construction began in Newport Beach in the early 1900's, the first Condominium developments were not built until the late 1950's and early 1960's.
